1994 Chevrolet Corsica
The 1994 Corsica remains standard as a 4-door sedan with a 5-passenger capacity.
General Motors had this aging sedan in a resolute upscale of its base level and
added it to its feature list. One big addition for this vehicle however was the
automatic being the base transmission although it dropped the 5-speed transmission
in the process.
The 94's standard features includes a CFC-free air conditioning system, anti-lock
brakes, a more powerful base engine, automatic door locks that is programmable,
and a battery run down protection system. Having the programmable door locks,
the car's door can now be easily programmed to stay locked or open when the car
is put back into Park position. Before, the doors lock when the car is taken out
of Park position.
New option for this year's Corsica is the Generation III 3100 V6 engine that
is mated to an electronically controlled 4-speed automatic. Now, this engine can
produce 155 horsepower and 185 lb. ft. of torque.
